I am living life with autoimmune disease and figuring out how to live with grace in my family. I have always been a spice addict and love ethnic foods, which are now largely off the table. My family has very simple tastes. My husband is Australian and grew up with a missionary family and a British raised mother putting food on the table so he loves simple food; as do our children.
I might post “gentle but normal” family friendly recipes with einkorn or gluten free grains but this blog is predominantly for cultured foods with an emphasis on paleo-friendly keto. Keto keeps my inflammation in check. I have moved away from nightshades and a host of other foods since my diagnosis with Hashimoto’s Disease so this is a journey.
